Our Current Openings
Veterinary Technician
Technical Skills (preferred but willing to train the right person):
- Restrain cats and dogs properly for examination, blood draw, injections and placing IV catheters
- Blood draw from dogs and cats
- Draw up injectable medications/Give injectable medications
- Properly prepare and fill medication prescriptions
- Prepare and read ear cytologies, skin scrapes and tape cytologies
- Basic monitoring during surgery
- Use in-house laboratory equipment
- Position for radiographs and measure for technique
- Administer oral, subcutaneous and intramuscular injections
- Perform dental scaling
- Call clients with laboratory results and answer general questions
- Answer and handle phone calls
Veterinary Receptionist
Required Skills (preferred but willing to train the right person):
- Excellent phone skills including multiple lines
- Quickly learn to utilize practice software
- Able to count money and provide correct change
- Write a deposit slip
- Able to communicate with clients in a way that indicates we care about them and their pets (This is the most important skill we require!)
- Excellent customer service
- Excellent typing skills
- Organized and orderly
